In order to facilitate the exchange of knowledge in the RoboCup community, we have decided to release our source code for the previous RoboCup competition. In the first installment, we released the code that was used in our last match at RoboCup 2011 in Istanbul, in the game FUmanoids vs. Darmstadt Dribblers (4:8). This was followed up at the end of 2012 with the release of the code used in RoboCup 2012 in Mexico City, the code release for RoboCup 2013 in Eindhoven and finally the release of the 2015 code used in RoboCup 2015 in Hefei, China. For details and license information, please refer to the README and LICENCE files in the downloads.
We hope that by releasing the source code of our robots we can provide some insight in humanoid robot soccer software, allow other teams to learn from our code – and possibly our mistakes – but also to hopefully encourage other teams to do the same and release their code as well.
We appreciate your feedback. Feel free to contact us on our website, become a follower on twitter or like us on Facebook!
