We arrived well in Istanbul yesterday and were at our hostel in the early afternoon. The rest of the day was spent exploring the area and relaxing a bit in preparation of the competition.
Today was the first setup day, which means that we spent all day preparing the robots, checking everything and fixing any issues we can see. So far it is looking okay, but of course only a real game will show whether we are up to our top-form. On that matter, the groups were drawn today. Originally it was planned to have 8 groups of 3 teams each, but as not all teams could make it to RoboCup there are some groups with only two teams in them. Incidentially we are in one of these groups. The other team drawn in our group are (just like last year in Singapore) the WF Wolves. The game will be on Thursday.
