It’s us again! And this time we proudly present the design of our new robots. Below, you can see an early drawing of Lina – one of our two brand new robot ladies. She’s 60cm tall and has a weight of approximately 4.8kg.
We’ve chosen a kind of parallel kinematic for the legs, which made the walking much easier and so Lina is able to walk way more stable than our former robots did. On the other hand this kind of leg design is increasing the complexity for a solid standing up motion – so it’s always some kind of trade-off.
